The London Art bar will be celebrating Macmillan Coffee morning during the last week of September, selling special cakes and teas and facilitating some games to take part in!

But for the main event… We will also be hosting a quiz and disco night on Friday 30th September!

Macmillan is a brilliant charity that supports those living with cancer, either those diagnosed with cancer themselves, or supporting family and friends of those who have been. The number of cancer cases are increasing every year and it is thanks to charities like Macmillan that people feel supported in managing this. 

Did you know that on average 385,000 people are diagnosed with cancer annually in the UK? These people need our support.

What are we doing in the week?

• The London Art bar will be selling special cakes and teas (donated by A Little Cup Tea Co) over the week, and donating 50% of these profits to Macmillan. 

• On Friday 30th, we will also be hosting some games during the day, which you can take part in for a £1 donation per game - make sure you head down in your lunch break for some Friday fun!

What to expect on the night of the 30th

• Pub quiz with some goodies to win

• Disco dance-a-thon after the quiz - hosted by our special drag guest!

For the dance-a-thon, we will be challenging you to ‘step up’ and help us reach our goal of 385,000 steps taken over the day (to match the number of annual cancer cases here in the UK). You can sign up to the app Walker Tracker and join the ‘MacmillanDance’ Challenge to have your steps added to the collective group step counter. The app can link up to your health app or fitbit in order to keep track of your steps… let’s dance the night away!
